  • StarUML Software developed and published by South Korean R&D company named as MKLabs Co. Ltd on August 7, 2006. 
  • It was written in Java and supports different operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, macOS and Linux.
  • It is a Software Engineering Tool to provide system modeling using UML(Unified Modeling Language) with .mdj extension.

  Introduction to UML Diagrams Grady Booch, Ivar Jacobson, and James Rumbaugh created the Unified Modelling Language (UML) in 1995 while working at Rational Software . In 1997, the Object Management Group adopted UML. It is standardized modeling language used for Object Oriented Software Development Methodologies.
